Ellis A. Field Jr., 59 of Mesa, AZ passed away Friday May 20, 2011 in Mesa, AZ. Mr. Field, a mental health specialist, was born in Memphis, TN and served in the US Army in Vietnam as a Special Forces Green Beret. He also served in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his wife Joan Field, daughter Jamee Vesga, son Ellis Field III, step-son Thomas Bufford, sisters Martha Waterman and Pam Henderson, and grandchildren: E.A. “Joey” Field IV, Josie Field, Brier Field, Mary Heckman, Jessica Heckman, Blake Lee, Cody Lee, Heather Lee, Grace Lee, Gabriel Sherman, Emily Bufford, Eva Bufford, Max Donaldson, Cheyenne Donaldson and Crystal Young. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Field Sr. and Mary Price Field, brother Murry Eugene Field, and daughter Brandy Lynn Field. The visitation will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday May 25, 2011 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm, both at LDS Church, 6942 E. Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ (Westside Parking Lot)

    I’m so sorry to hear about Allen’s death. My thoughts are with his family. I am so glad I got in contact with him a couple of years ago. He hadn’t changed a bit. Googled my address and told me I needed to put up my trash can!
