Violet M. Orr of Utica, NY passed away at her home in Mesa, AZ on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 after a two year battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born on April 30, 1952 and met her husband Dennis Orr when she was 12 years old. Violet and Dennis were married on March 18th, 1972, and were blessed with 38 years together. Violet’s loves in life were her husband Dennis, her daughter Karey, her two grand daughters Ariana and Cienna, and her cats namely “the Pus” and “Butternut”. Violet will always be remembered for her ability to forgive, her practical jokes, her quick wit, and sense of humor. She has left us with a legacy of stories to tell. Survivors include: Dennis Orr (husband), Karey Bohmer (daughter) Dan Bohmer (son-in-law) Ariana Garza (granddaughter) Cienna Bohmer (granddaughter), Raymond Wiater (brother) Patrisha Wiater (sister-in-law), Roseanne Czternastek (sister), Gary Wiater (brother), Noreen Wiater (sister-in-law), Eric Wiater (brother) and Kathleen and Keith Sterling (sister and brother-in-law), Michelle Baker and Kay Blevins (her two best friends) and her beloved cats, Chompie, Sushi, Callie, and Smackers. Services were held on October 8th at Mountain View Funeral Home in Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. There is a void that cannot be replace. The life insurance we buy is really preparation for death. But the life insurance Jehovah God offers is the destroying of death itself and all the things we can think of that causes it. He will do this through His Kingdom that His Son Jesus Christ is King of. We can gain comfort now through the Bible. And in the very near future we will hold our love ones again. We all will live happy healthy lives forever in exquisite delight and in an abundance of peace here on earth.
