It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John William Deming, who entered eternal rest on July 31, 2026, at the age of 48.
A lifelong resident and proud native of Mesa, Arizona, John was born on October 3, 1977. He spent his entire life in the community he loved, where he built lasting friendships and cherished the people and places that shaped him. He graduated from Valley Christian High School and later earned his degree from the University of
Phoenix.
One of John’s greatest joys was spending time in Arizona’s beautiful high country. He had a deep appreciation for the rich history, breathtaking beauty, and treasured family connections found along the Mogollon Rim and at Natural Bridge. Those places held special meaning for him and provided memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who shared them with him.
Above all, John valued his family. He will be remembered for the love he shared, the memories he created, and the quiet but lasting impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. Though his passing came far too soon, his life will continue to be celebrated through the stories, traditions, and love he leaves behind.
He is lovingly survived by his brother, James C. Deming and his wife, Nancy Deming; his sister, Sandra Holliefield and her husband, Barry Holliefield; along with his beloved nieces and great-nephew, all of whom will cherish his memory and carry his legacy forward.
He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who knew him to honor his memory by spending time with loved ones and appreciating the natural beauty of Arizona that he held so dear.
