We lost a pure gentleman, Matthew Thomas Lipscomb, 46, of Mesa, AZ, on Friday November 4, 2011. He is survived by his adoring wife Susan, his loving mother Alice Lipscomb (Tom DeVeau) of Milwaukee, WI, his siblings: Laura (Scott) Thompson, Steve (Trish) Lipscomb, Mary (Brad) Babor, Patty (Lumpy) McGregor, Sara (Dan) Kartz, Daniel (Debra) Lipscomb, Martha (Jeff) Kuhn, Susan’s extended family: Steven Malaga, grandson Jackson Malaga, mother-in-law “Mom” Emma Sloan, Cheryl Walker, Pam Mosley, Paula Bohannon, Jackie Fenske, Christina Pett; nieces, nephews, cousins and a plethora of friends. He will be especially missed by his “boys” Nanuk and Maverick. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Charles Lipscomb and his brother Dennis. Matt touched so many lives with his spectacular smile, charm, sweetness, gentle heart, and his passion for life and people. Matthew was one of a kind. There will be a visitation Wednesday November 9, 2011 at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ between 4-7:00 pm with Eulogies at 6:00 pm. The funeral service will be Thursday November 10, 2011 at College View Baptist Church, 1810 S. Longmore, Mesa, AZ at 2:00 pm.
