Alvin Wolff was born August 24, 1926 to Fred C. and Magdelena Wolff. He went to heavenly rest on February 12, 2012. He farmed with his parents until he joined the US Army in 1950. He was united in marriage with Hazel Fregia on November 25, 1952 in Yuma, AZ. In 1953, he bought the family farm from his parents and farmed with his family until 1972. He and his wife took over management and ownership of Highmore Nursing Home. He also built a supper club and motel in Redfield, SD. In 1990, they sold all of their businesses and retired to Gold Canyon, AZ. He had given his life to the Lord and served as a deacon in his church. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Apache Junction, AZ. Survivors include his children: two sons and four step-children; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his special friend who he married on March 7, 2009, Cozy. He was preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings and his wife of 56 years, Hazel. He will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, AZ. Services will be at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ on Friday February 17, 2012, with the visitation starting at 10:00 am followed by the chapel service at 10:30 am.
