Chandler L. Roesch passed away June 24, 2012 at Mountain View Hospice in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born in Huron, SD on July 4, 1940. He graduated from Southern Illinois University (Master of Science degree) and taught in Argentina and Illinois schools until changing careers and working with the Dept. of Defense in Chicago. He was transferred to Phoenix Dept. of Defense in 1989. He served in the Air Force in Germany and continued in the Air Guard and Air Force Reserves to retirement at Luke A.F.B. He is survived by his wife Helen, 4 step children: Kenneth (Phyllis) Trommer of E. Moline, IL, Sheryl (William) Reese of Campton Hill, IL, Rebecca (Mark) Alger of Chicago, IL, Steven Trommer of Mundelien, IL, and grandchildren: Michelle Trommer, Samantha Reese and David Reese. He is also survived by his twin sister, Barbara (Fred) Miles and nephew Rick (Karen) Miles and 2 great nephews, Dylan and Trevor. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 21 at the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church, 13001 Fountain Hills Blvd, Fountain Hills AZ, 86268. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church would be appreciated. Chandler was the sound tech for the church and loved working the sound booth. He was a Deacon for 3 years and was on the Building and Grounds Committee. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and willingness to help anyone.
