William J. Mouw, 71, of Mesa, Arizona passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 after a 14 month battle with Cancer. He was born in Boyden, Iowa May 3, 1941. He dedicated 44 years to Optimist International bringing out the best in kids as well as donating time and money toward Children’s Cancer projects and research. Bill is survived by his wife, Florence Mouw, his sister, Thelma (Sherwood) Dick, his children, Chad (Amy) Mouw, Tamera (Terry) Swenson, Wendy Mouw and Stacy Blair and his grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Connor, Chandler, Hunter, Zander, Rylan, Kaylynn, 6 step grandchildren, and 9 step great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 2085 E. Southern Avenue Tempe, AZ 85282.
