David and I send our condolences to Debbie and the Stupar family. I’ll always have fond memory of Bill through the many years that I knew him.

  3. Matt Jackson says:

I was around Billy Jo quite a lot in the late 1960’s. He lit up a room when he entered. He was very funny, charismatic and no one could belt Aretha Franklin like he could. He will be missed forever,

    Matt Jackson

  4. John/Beverly Pietrzyk says:

Our daughter Diana remembers Billy Jo when she and he worked at White Hen in Villa Park, Illinois many years. We too remember Billy Jo and are really good friends also with LaVerne and Ed Koutny. God Bless the Stupar and the Koutny families.

  5. patrick johnston says:

Quick wit, great smile, and a really nice guy!! He did this thing called “The Chicken Walk” I can’t describe it for you but it was just hilarious to watch him do it. Bill was a people guy; and they loved him back! He will be missed!

  6. chuckie browne says:

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of one of my oldest and dearest friends from the 24th and Troy neighborhood in Chicago. I played ball with Billy at the old Lawndale Park and played many games with him and his Dad George.
I am a bit of a loss for words as I had not seen Billy for many, many years but do remember he was living with his Grandmother in Crystal Lake and that would be around 1966. Just on a whim I wanted to find Billy through facebook and this item appeared. So sorry for your loss.
