Doris Mae Silva, age 87, passed away at home in Gold Canyon, AZ on Thursday August 18,2016 at 12:25am. 

Born on February 19,1929, in Park Rapids, MN, she moved to California until 1996 then moved to Arizona. After her children were in high school she worked at different jobs for something to do. She enjoyed every job she did and did them well. She was a state officer in the VFW along with her husband and traveled all over California for different functions.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Clarence Silva.  Survivors include two children Richard A. Silva and Kathleen L Nolan.  She also has 4 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.  She was so blessed to have seen them all but 1 of the great great grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Kathleen Nolan 9316 E Mogollon Trl, Gold Canyon, AZ, from 4-7pm on August 26,2016 for Friends and Relatives. Memorial service will be private.
