Kenneth Lee Brummond “Big Daddy”, 64, of Apache Junction, Arizona, entered into eternal rest after a lengthy battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Apache Junction, Arizona. He was born March 3, 1952 in Madelia, Minnesota. Mr. Brummond was a retired Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Apache helicopter for Lockheed Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Luanne Brummond; daughter, Heidi Myers and husband Wyatt; sons, Adam Craig and wife, Lisa, and Michael Brummond and wife, Rebecca; his mother, Bonita Brummond; grandchildren, Marissa Flake (Kyle), Wyatt, and Audie Craig; Makena, Hudson, and Cadence Myers; and Reven and Keoni Brummond; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Brummond, and two brothers, Dennis and Alan Brummond.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street in Mesa. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 am at Mountain View Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, MD Anderson Cancer Center, or Banner Hospice would be appreciated in Kenneth’s name.
Ken’s dedication to the security of America and his pride in his workmanship served as an example to those of us that had the privilege of working with him.
