Leo Prevost Obituary
Leo Prevost, 92, of Apache Junction, formerly of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Betty Boehme; a sister, Elaine Mercier (Allen); children, Lynn Shippley, Nancy Loken (Erik), Richard Prevost (Mary), Christopher Prevost; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leo was very proud of his service in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate 2 during World War II and the Korean War. He belonged to the VFW and the Knights of Columbus of Racine, Wisconsin and the Elks Club of Escanaba, Michigan, his birthplace. He was a loving father, brother and husband and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church, 300 East 16th Avenue, Apache Junction, on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Military honors will follow. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
