Robert Niebrugge Reimherr Obituary

Robert Niebrugge Reimherr, 91, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, in Mesa. Mr. Reimherr, a retired electrical engineer, was born in Troy, New York, March 12, 1924. During World War II Robert attended Rensseler Polytechnic Institute as a Naval Cadet. After graduation he served aboard the destroyer USS Corry as an Electronics Officer. After the war Robert worked in the aviation/aerospace industry until his retirement in 1986. Robert and his wife Majean then traveled the country in their motor home until 1997. They then settled in SunlandVillage in Mesa, Arizona. Robert loved his country very much and during his retirement he spent much of his time promoting the cause for our nation’s liberty. Robert is survived by his children: Barbara Wilson, WA, Steven Miller, TN, Andrew Reimherr, AK, Nancy Tournay and Debbie Reimherr, CA, grandchildren Jeremy Reimherr, Tim Reimherr, Justin Reimherr, Mathew Reimherr, Sheena Reimherr, great-granddaughter, Savannah Reimherr and Sweetheart, Donna Taylor. Robert is a loving, kind and generous man. He is missed very much. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 10:30 am until the memorial service at 11:00 am at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street, Mesa.
