Bob,
Thanks for being a great neighbor and a great example. You were always thinking of others and building cool stuff in your work shed. I’m glad we have the rocking chair you made out of an old head board of a bed. It sits proudly on our back porch. You also mended the rocking chair Venna has had for many years and will be handed down to the next generation.
When the choir sang “Consider the Lilies” on Sunday I thought of you and remembered you showing me how you feed the birds. Especially the one that would fly down and eat out of your hands.
You are in good company now, with the Lord and with your family. I know we’ll meet again, but until then, we will miss you.
I am grateful to have had Bob as our neighbor and friend. We always enjoyed having him attend our family events and dinners, the grandchildren will miss him.
I am grateful to him for mending my heirloom rocking chair to give to my son who will be having his first baby this summer.
I enjoy each morning as I sit on my back porch enjoying the birds in my back yard on the rocking chair Bob built.
Bob was always so kind to allow our grandchildren to come feed his chickens.
Bob has truly been a blessing in our lives. We will miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. Thank you for sharing Bob with us.
