Patricia Ann Kay passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2015. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Patricia grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later moved to the Phoenix area in 1962. During the course of her lifetime, Patricia enjoyed playing classical music on the piano. She also tended to her house plants, studied and spoke French, and engaged in arts and crafts of all kinds. An avid reader, she appreciated a good book and was known to write poetry from time to time. She was also very interested in her Irish heritage, and loved the music and history of Ireland. Patricia is survived by her former husband, Robert Kay; her two children, Gary and Carol; grandchildren, Samuel and Owen; a sister, Eleanor; niece Christine and nephew Donald. Patricia’s name will be featured on Sunday (at St. Timothy’s Church in Mesa) in a “Prayer List of the Faithful.” The family will be committing her ashes in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association or to the Arthritis Foundation.
