Robert A. Boole of Paradise Valley, Arizona and Harrison, Maine (formerly of Bolton, Massachusetts) died peacefully at home on Friday, March 6, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born March 25, 1931 in Jamaica, New York to Victoria and Ainsley Boole. He graduated from Mepham High School in Wantaugh, Long Island in 1948. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from MIT in Cambridge in 1952 and his MBA from Boston University in 1958. He was a second lieutenant in the Signal Corps in New Jersey and served in the labs there from 1952-1954. In June of 1956 he married the love of his life, Janet Adele Seely, at St. Mary’s church in Newton Lower Falls, Massachusetts. He worked at Raytheon, General Radio, and Analog Devices, and then retired in 1990. Summers were spent on Sebago Lake in Maine, and winters in Paradise Valley, Arizona. He loved to golf, ski, bike, sail, and drive his tractor. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet; his daughters Linda Weatherbee of Lancaster, Massachusetts and Carole Maguire and her husband Michael of Mansfield, Massachusetts; his grandchildren Justin, Dana, Trevor and Casey Weatherbee, and Kelly and Ally Maguire. Burial will be private; a memorial service will be held at St. Barnabas in the Desert of Paradise Valley on Thursday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel, and at St. Peter’s Church in Bridgton, Maine at a date to be determined.
