Patricia “Pat” Joan Doro, 86, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at her home at Brookdale Springs. Pat was born May 23, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois to Victor and Stella (Kuk) Rice.
Pat and her older brother, Donald Rice, attended and graduated from Catholic School in Chicago, Illinois. After high school she met and married Andrew Doro on March 17, 1955. They raised three sons: Steven, Alan, and Jeffrey. Pat moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1960.
Pat was a homemaker and loved to cook! She also spent time with family and friends, she loved fishing, playing bingo and cards, and volunteering her services at Brookdale Springs.
She will be greatly missed.
When Pat passed she was greeted by her husband, Andrew; as well as her parents, Victor and Stella, and her granddaughter, Samantha. She is survived by her children, Steven (Debbie), Alan (Pat), and Jeffrey (Jane); grandchildren, Monica and Maresa; and great-grandchildren, Cali, Hunter, Spencer, and Maddax.
Family will receive condolences at 1:00pm on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E Main Street, Mesa, Arizona. Services will begin at 2:00pm.
A reception will be held following services at Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse, 1600 E Lakeside Drive, Gilbert, Arizona.
