Lavern Stanley Kolasa, age 74 of Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 24th, 2020. Proceeded in death by his parents, Stanley & Leona (Babler) Kolasa, Sr; Wife Peggy Renee Kolasa; Daughter Kelli Jo McNevin; brothers Robert & Anthony Kolasa.

He is survived by son Jerry (Janet) Kolasa of St. Michael, Kevin (Katrina) Kolasa of Florida, daughter Kate Kolasa of Otsego, son-in-law Todd McNevin of Montrose; grandchildren Jacob, Kole, Colin, Jeslyn, Kodi, Heather, Hannah; brothers and sisters, Marlene (Bernard) Vetsch, Barb (Dave) Gilles, Beetzie Dalbec, James (Susan) Kolasa, Stanley (Nancy) Kolasa, Jr., Marne Kolasa, John (Danice) Kolasa, Edward (Roberta) Kolasa Margaret (Rick) Kottke, Thomas (Dianna) Kolasa, Mary (Tim) Brown and Claire (Bob) Lensegrav. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Vern was an accomplished business owner of VSK Equipment and enjoyed creating fun memories with family & friends. Vern treasured his time traveling with wife Peggy in their RV visiting historical sites, museums, friends, and making sure to stop at VFWs on the way. Many laughs were guaranteed when you joined him at happy hour with one of his stories, jokes, or his funny t-shirts he wore just to see your reaction.

A Celebration of Vern’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
