Celeste Ann Simpson passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022 after a long battle with diabetes in Mesa, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family.   Celeste was born on February 12, 1982 in Mesa to her parents, Robert “Wayde” Mullenaux and Debra Robinson (Mullenaux).  Celeste and Todd D. Simpson were married August 2, 2014 in Arizona, and together raised their sons Parker, William and Gavin.

Celeste grew up in Mesa with her older sister Bridgett and younger brother Wesley. In 2000, she graduated from Red Mountain High School, where she shared her infectious smile and vibrant energy through cheer.  In 2011 Celeste became a nurse, and for 11 years dedicated herself to the service and care of others.   Celeste was passionate about her career as a nurse and treasured the friendships made with her colleagues.

Celeste enjoyed travelling and spending quality time at home with her husband and sons. She deeply adored her sons and cherished every moment with them.  Her family was her world and focus.

This chapter of her life here on Earth came to an end at the age of 40 while she was surrounded by all the love and support of her family, guiding her forward into her eternal life, where she will be reunited with her father Wayde, her grandmother Ada May Eagar, her grandfather Lynn Mullenaux, and many other beloved family members she has missed.

Celeste is survived by her dedicated friend and dear husband Todd; sons Parker, William, and Gavin; mother Debra and step-father Roy.   She is preceded in death by her father, Wayde.
