Jean brought joy and laughter and a warm smile wherever she went. And was always welcoming , even though the cabin was filled with people she made sure to talk with everyone. Her interest in those she met , made people feel important.
Rest in peace, we were so blessed to have known you .
I went to YMCA Camp with her daughter, Kathy for two summers. Jean was so kind to me as she graciously drove the 30-ish miles to Lake Nebagamon. My mom didn’t drive so if not for her, I wouldn’t be able to go and it was so much fun!
My Aunt Jean, known to me affectionately as Jeannie Belle, was the most wonderful woman I ever knew, after only my mother, and I am so very sad she has passed away. I was blessed to have lived just one house down from the Aros for the first four years of my life. She consoled me when I cried and laughed and smiled when she saw me coming to their door. I could write for hours about how much my Aunt Jean meant to me, but I will simply say that I loved her and I will miss her. God Bless You, Jeannie Belle.
She is surely going to be missed. I already felt her absence when she left PDS. No one else would make me a grapefruit pie. 🙂 Loving you. I hope heaven is ready for the party girl.
Kathy and family. I was sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She sounded like a caring, loving person. May all her wonderful memories carry you thru this difficult time.. May she now rest peacefully! 🙏🙏🙏
Our hearts are saddened by her loss, but we have the beautiful and fun memories to keep with us. Jean is a beautiful soul and had such an infectious smile and personality. Condolences to the family and God Bless all of you. RIP in peace Jeanie, Beanie. I hold you close to my heart. Sincerely, Jack and Brenda Allen & family

I am truly grateful that I could visit Auntie Jean this past March! She loved me & my friends unconditionally! She was my “ go to” to help me remember many things I could not remember as a child!
