J.B. Jorges, 78, passed away on October 23, 2023. He was born in Great Bend, Kansas, to Alfred Laneil and Lillian Jorges. He served for the United States Army in the Vietnam War as a Medical Corpsman, where he received many medals. He is survived by his son Mark Jorges, daughter Alicia Newton, son-in-law Jon Newton, three grandsons Mason, Elijah and Ryan Brown and two great-grandchildren Kiyah and Landon Brown. He will be dearly missed, Graveside Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 20, 2023 at Mountain View Cemetery located at 7900 E Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207. Please no flowers, as he will be placed into a niche.

Jay, I just found out your real name is J.B., strange things you find out when you read an obituary. Jay attended our lunches, if he was not sitting close to me, he always took the time to ask me how I was doing and feeling. Jay always made me laugh. The last time we spoke, he was excited about attending PT. He felt that doing PT would put the bounce in his step. Jay, RIP 🙏🏻. My condolences to Mark and Alicia and the rest of his family.
