Martin “Marty” E. Pomeroy, 62 of Chandler Arizona, died March 1st 2024. Survived by two daughters, Emily Pomeroy and Natalie Penniman and 3 grandchildren. Marty, a retired international freight logistics manager; was a wonderful father and avid Harley rider. He was a music enthusiast with a free spirit. Who enjoyed traveling the California coastline on motorcycle or off roading through the Arizona mountains with his Jeep. Marty was also a long time bass guitar player. Who played bass guitar for the early 90s band “Heads in the Grass” that held a permanent gig every Monday night at the old Sail Inn, in Tempe, Az. When he wasn’t out riding or letting loose at concerts with friends, he was spending time with his two daughters. Some of their favorite activities together were art festivals, concerts and trying new cuisine. Marty was a Wonderful and devoted father, who loved his daughters deeply. Teaching them about the great outdoors while on camping trips and sharing with them his love for art and music. He was truly admired and loved by many. Sadly taken too soon. We love and miss you Dad.

    I worked for Marty at Pixley Richard’s, so sad to hear of his passing, great guy,always showing up to work on his motorcycle, and always talking music, so sorry for your loss!
