Dear Gail & Cheryl Family– I feel sad that I never got to know Gail & Cheryl. Gail was raised by very loving parents and had a large Eszlinger-Zimmerman Family of Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. He inherited his gentle and friendly manner from his parents. It is comforting for me to read of his large family of grandchildren and great grandchildren. I can well imagine how he is missed. You will have wonderful memories. I am a cousin, a few years younger than his brother Robert/’Bob”.
I would appreciate if you would please let me know when you have his funeral service. A financial donation is made to the Salem Cemetery Fund in honor of his grandparents Solomon & Karolina Salzer Eszlinger.
Prayers for your healing and comfort. Cousin- Julia Eszlinger Jensen
My condolences and prayers to the Zimmerman families. Gail left an indelible mark on my life! I was blessed by Gail’s wisdom, compassion, humor, friendship, and love of family and friends! Gail and Cheryl treated me like family. Through their examples, they taught me many lessons. How to treat others well. How to communicate with others, especially when outside my comfort level. How to have the correct perspective of my career and aspects of my life I was about to embark on. They showed me what it was like to be compassionate and empathetic. They showed me how to support your family even when things weren’t ideal. They showed me the worthiness and value of people. They showed me what it meant to be hospitable, to welcome people no matter how well you knew them. They demonstrated love in enumerable ways! I have so much gratitude in my heart for you Gail and Cheryl! Thank you both for being a part of my life in my youth! I carry you both in my heart always! Heaven is definitely celebrating! Be Blessed, Zimmerman Families!
