Dorothy “Dottie” Constance Pierce, 90, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 4, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA Dottie dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband Earl, and their two children.

Dottie’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and fostering a loving environment. Her homemade pretzels were legendary, and her holiday gatherings complete with delicious homemade baked goods were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. Dottie’s love and talent for creating beautiful seasonal wreaths, and decorations were always on display in her beautiful, well-manicured home, which she lovingly tended to for over seven decades.

She is survived by her son Daniel, daughter in law Cynthia, grandson Connor, and two great grandchildren Gunnar (5), and Casey (3). A graveside service will be held on Monday March 17th at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery. A celebration of Dottie’s life luncheon will be held on May 17, 2025, at Paloma Community Church in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Desert Valley Hospice and The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, both of which were close to Dottie’s heart.
