Born on March 3, 1989, Sonia was a devoted daughter, loving wife, caring mother, and loyal friend. She possessed a beautiful heart, a generous spirit, and a warmth that made everyone around her feel welcome. Her smile could brighten any room, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Sonia was the beloved daughter of Guy and Leslie Nowak, whose love and guidance helped shape the remarkable woman she became. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Kevin Martin, who was not only her partner in life but also her greatest friend and source of strength. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Nothing brought Sonia greater joy than being a mother to Kara and Joseph. Her children were the center of her world, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising them with love, patience, compassion, and faith. Every hug, family pictures, family outing, and shared laugh became treasured moments that her children will carry with them forever.
Sonia found happiness in photography. Whether she was taking pictures with family, enjoying the outdoors, cooking, crafting, traveling, watching the storms, or simply sharing conversations with those she loved, she found joy in life’s simple blessings. Her happiest moments were those spent creating memories with the people closest to her heart.
Sonia’s faith was the foundation of her life. She trusted in God’s plan, lived with compassion and grace, and found strength in her beliefs through life’s joys and challenges. Her faith inspired the kindness she showed to others and gave her hope that she carried each day. Those who knew her take comfort in believing she is now at peace in the loving presence of the Lord.
Among the many memories Sonia leaves behind are family gatherings filled with laughter, holiday traditions she cherished, her comforting hugs, her infectious laugh, and the countless ways she made everyone feel loved and accepted. She was always the first to offer encouragement during difficult times. Her selflessness and unconditional love will forever remain an example to all who knew her.
Sonia is survived by her loving parents, Guy and Leslie Nowak; her devoted husband, Kevin Martin; her cherished children, Kara and Joseph Martin, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to honor her memory through the love she shared with them.
Although our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the years we were blessed to have Sonia in our lives. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived—a life filled with faith, compassion, generosity, and unconditional love.
Sonia’s love will live on in every life she touched. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished until we meet again.
