Anita Martinez Dominguez born May 12,1926 in Ft Hancock Texas to Maximo and Cruz Martinez. She had 12 siblings, 8 sisters and 4 brothers. Married Frank Dominguez August 26,1945 in Marfa Texas.

Together they had 6 biological children Frank L, Delma, Dave, George, Rene and Antonette, and one adopted son Herman. Preceding her in death were her Husband Frank, who passed in 1994, her oldest Son Frank L. who was killed in VietNam in 1968. Also her oldest Daughter Delma who passed in 2025. Her surviving Children are David, Herman, George, Rene, and Antoinette. She currently has Seven grandkids, Ten great grandkids, and Five great great grandkids.  While living through some tough times ( Depression, WW2). Having only a third grade education she became a successful business woman. Owning a custom drapery business for many years.

Mom was a devoted Catholic and very active in the church. She was also active in LULAC, a Latino community organization. She was always ready to help friends and neighbors. She always said she would live to be 100 years old and she made it.

    Aunty was a wonderfully kind and caring person who was loved by many. Her warm smile was frequently felt by those in her company. She helped my father through very tough times when my mother passed. You will live forever in our memories, Aunty.
