Please join for our Annual Memorial Day “Eve” Event. The event this year will be held on May 30, 2021 from 5pm-6:30 pm. To keep everyone safe we are doing it a little differently this year. We ask that everyone brings a chair or a blanket to sit on and join us on the front lawn. We will have a local band here singing patriotic songs. Aioli Burger will be here with their food truck and will have food available to purchase.
Come and learn more about Soldier’s Best Friend. They are devoted to helping our veterans living with combat-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). A second part of their goal is to make a positive impact on the pet overpopulation problem. They are dedicated to pairing and training service dogs with veterans at no cost to the veteran.
We will also be having our Annual Toiletry Drive for our Homeless Veterans. We will be accepting donations now until May 30th. We are asking for the following: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, band-aids, sunscreen, nail files, nail clippers, deodorant, lotion, razors, shaving cream, etc. We appreciate all the support that you give our homeless veterans.
