In Loving Memory of Mary Angelina (Bertino) Miller
November 11, 1926 – March 20, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife, Mary Angelina Miller, who passed away peacefully in her home on March 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on November 11, 1926, in Beverly, New Jersey, Mary was the youngest of nine children born to Italian immigrants Giuseppe and Concetta Bertino. She was the cherished sister of Anthony, Josephine, Catherine, John, Esther, Rose, Samuel, and Nicolina.

Mary grew up in Beverly, where she graduated from high school before pursuing a career in nursing. A dedicated and compassionate caregiver, Mary worked as a nurse until 1980, leaving a legacy of service and kindness. Later in life, she pursued her passion for beauty and style, earning her cosmetology license and excelling as a talented hairdresser. Alongside her husband, she co-owned and operated hair salons in both New Jersey and Ajo, Arizona.

Mary met the love of her life, Jim “Jimmy” Miller, with whom she shared 75 beautiful years of marriage. They built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. Mary is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved Jimmy, her first granddaughter, Mary Frances Farko and her first great grandson Dillan Hardt.

She leaves behind a loving legacy in her children: Wendy (Jon) Farko, Jimbo (Kathy) Miller, and Cheryl Hardt. She was the proud grandmother of J.J. (Rachel) Farko, Deana (Tim) Mishler, Babe Farko, Aaron (Samantha) Hardt, David, Nathan, and Alex Hardt, and the treasured great-grandmother of Lucas Mishler, Anthony Farko, Kayla and Alyssa Mishler, Noah and Alice Farko, and Melanie, Paisley, James, Ana, Scarlett, and Emma Hardt.

Mary was deeply loved by her family and friends. Her radiant, infectious smile and quick-witted humor lit up every room. She was strong, resilient, and overcame many of life’s challenges with grace. A phenomenal cook, a lover of music and dancing, and always the life of the party, Mary’s joy was truly contagious. Her deep faith guided her throughout her life, and we take comfort knowing she is now resting in eternal peace with her Lord and Savior.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and joy. Her warmth and kindness live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.
