Abby and I had a special bond. He not only helped me become successful in my career but showed me true friendship. He used to intercom me everyday and tell me a funny dad joke then say “k bye” and hang up on me lol. There’s no question you couldn’t ask him because he truly knew everything. I’ll miss his stories and great taste in music. How lucky I was to be able to call you a friend.
This picture captures him exactly the way he was. Always smiling!! You are all on my heart and in my thoughts.
Abby was a dear friend of mine, as we worked along side each other for a couple years. He was pretty quite most of time, but when he did speak you couldn’t help but laugh because he was always saying something goofy. My favorite thing that I got to hear Monday – Friday, is when he was asked how he was doing, he would reply with “Pretty Okay”. He was constantly expressing his pride for his son and all the cool things his son was accomplishing. He was cheerful, fact filled and just so kind. It was never a boring day with Abby around! You will be missed tremendously my friend!
I’m terribly sorry for your loss! I was blessed to work with Abby. His sense of humor and laugh was contagious. He always saw the glass half full. His jokes and stories kept us all in stiches. No matter how Abby felt physically he would never give up on making others feel better. I know he is now pain free and laughing in heaven with others. He is truly missed.
