Bil Lunsford was a true Arizona native born in Bisbee on July 29, 1942. He joined the Marines and served as a Captain during the Vietnam War. He met his wife Sandra on a blind date set up by a friend and they were married on Valentines Day 1975. Bill enjoyed being part of In-Country Vietnam Veteran group where he was a Color Guard. He also was known to be a “car-guy” owning over 30 cars and trucks. Bill’s interests were so varied from raising bonsai to sailing and everything in-between.

Bill and Sandra have a son, Mathew, and three other children by a previous marriage, Dawn, David, and Chris. They have two grandchildren, Connor and Carter. Bill is also survived by his three sisters, Carol, Peggy, and Debbie.
