Bruce C. Mowers of Mesa, Arizona passed away on March 23, 2020. He was born in Brockport NY on July 31, 1947 to Norman and Shirley Mowers. He graduated from Brockport Central High School, He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967-1969. He was a VietNam Veteran. He worked for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY until 1980. He and his family moved to Mesa where Bruce was employed by CRL-Orban as Production Supervisor until he retired in 2007.

Bruce enjoyed cruising and visiting foreign ports with his wife JoAnn. He was often found playing golf with his friends at the Sunland Golf Course. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to the racetrack in Phoenix. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Mowers and Shirley Mowers and his sister, Sharon Mowers Billington. Bruce is survived by his wife, JoAnn, his three children and their spouses, Gwen Mowers Woolhouse (Brian), Jennifer Mowers Lagerhausen (Alan) and Matthew Mowers (Ramona Stroe) as well as his three beloved granchildren, Kiersten, Ethan and Casey; his brother William Mowers and sister, Linda Mowers Doucette-Hale.

A funeral mass will be held August 14, 2020 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Rd. Mesa, AZ 85206 @11:00 am. Following the service, interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207. Masks are required at the church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the West, 21410 N. 19th Ave. Suit 100, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
