Calla Jo Patterson of Apache Junction, AZ passed away Nov. 4, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. She was 81. Calla was born Oct. 17, 1933 to Thomas M. & Virgia B. (Brandon) Heard in O’Donnell, TX. Mrs. Patterson had lived in AZ for 78 years and was a retired legal secretary. She devoted her free time to her beloved children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband Samuel R. Patterson in 1999. She is survived by her daughter Debbi (John), 2 sons Samuel (Karen)& Dwight(Darlene), 9 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday Nov. 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel 7900 E. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207
