Best.Aunt.Ever. I am very lucky to have been Aunt Carol’s niece. Not only did she teach me so many things, but I always had so much fun with her. I will carry her in my heart forever. I strive to be like Aunt Carol- kind, caring, always having people’s backs, adventurous, spontaneous, loving, and brave. Gone but NEVER forgotten. I cherish the special ski trips we took together, and your legacy will live on through my own children. I know you will be cheering them on during their ski races and watching over them. Heaven has gained a most wonderful soul. I love you forever, Aunt Carol.
    Love, Kim XOXOXOX

  3. Carol Butler "Seajay" says:

A person’s life is made up of more than just what we can see or hear or touch. It’s about the deeper parts that allows us to do things that we didn’t think we could do, and become who we are meant to become. Those things – unconditional love, simple kindness, and respect for all ways of being in this world – those are the things that Carol Kramer’s life was made of. Those, plus a whole lot of humor and adventure and red bikes. I will miss you every day, Aunt Carol. My family and I are better people for knowing you.

  4. Susan Cox/Dorothy Loll says:

Carol, you brightened the room when you were there. We were lucky to have you as our friend, and will be greatly missed. I know you have been reunited with Nancy, and for that we are comforted. Hugs and prayers for your family

  5. Wendy-Ann Whitt says:

I am so lucky to have met the greatest friend ever, Carol. We lived far apart, but seen each other as much as possible, seems like I knew Carol for ever, she just made such a impact in my life. Carol’s energy and love for life was amazing, I loved being around her every second I could get. I will miss her greatly, but knowing she is now with Nancy again gives me peace with this. Heaven has gained another great person, a angel that will now look after us in a different way. Until we meet again Carol, love you so much, give Nancy a kiss for me!
    Love Wendy-Ann XOXOXOX

  10. Rebecca Young says:

Quite by accident today, I came upon Carol’s obituary. I was happy I did, as I have thought about her once in awhile wondering where she was living.

We lived next door to Carol in Indianapolis in 1973-74. She was such fun and a real go-getter. We put dinners together sometimes, and I still have her cabbage roll recipe. I’m just sorry I never saw her in person again.

My sincere sympathy to her family and friends. You will certainly miss her enthusiasm for life.

    Rebecca Young, Carmel, Indiana

  11. Lorraine Butler says:

    Dearest Carol,

You were there when your sister entered this world and have been with her nearly seventy years. You were there when she wed and you gained a brother almost fifty years ago. You were there when your brothers and nieces were born as well as your grand nieces and grand nephews. You were there for your spouse, extended family and friends.

You left too soon and it hurts. You were a people person, always giving everyone your full attention. And when you arrived, we knew we were going to have FUN. As Mother Teresa once said “Help those whom God has put in your path”. You did! The world feels different without you in it. Thank you for the wonderful gift that was you!

And when it came time to leave, you were there to let us know that you had safely arrived at your new destination by giving us signs. We have loved you with an everlasting love and you will always be a part of our lives. Oh how we miss your smiling face and energetic personality. Good bye Carol. We love you.

    Richard & Lorraine Butler

    My dearest sister Carol,
You have been one special lady in my life, and the lives of our family. Loving, caring, sacrificial, and everything we could love about someone. Carol’s birth name is Carol Ann Losleben. Some say Losleben is German for “free love,” others say it is German for “free life.” Either way, this is the Carol all of us know. She knew how to live life to the fullest. I will certain miss my sister, as she continues to live on in my heart forever. Great memories, great loss.
