Daniel (“Danny”) John Aubin, 49, passed away on April 14, 2024, in Gilbert, AZ, after a brief illness.
Danny is survived by his brother, Ryan (Nicole); nieces, Lillie and Sophie; aunt, Joanne Dienes; and many beloved cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Amy.
Danny was born on October 7, 1974, in Chicago, IL to Bill and Pat Aubin. He grew up in Riverdale, IL and lived with his family there until 1995, when he moved with his parents to Mesa, AZ. Danny graduated from Mesa High School in 1997 and participated in a day program with the Marc Center in Mesa for many years. Later, Danny moved to a group home where he enjoyed the bachelor life with his housemates and caregivers. Danny kept active all of his life. When he was younger, he participated in Special Olympics competitions and earned ribbons in track and field events. He loved music (especially The Beatles) and dancing, and led zumba classes at the Marc Center. Danny also loved taking drives with his dad and a good meal, especially steak and french fries, with his family and friends. Danny was a friend to everyone he met, and he will forever live on in our hearts.
