It is with great sadness that the family of Dannie Ambrose Taylor announce his passing on November 2, 2024. He passed away peacefully at the hospital after suffering a stroke.
Born on September 12, 1945, in Little Rock, AR to Ambrose and Juanita Taylor. Dannie grew up in Poplar Bluff, MO as the youngest of four siblings. At age 19, he joined the Army and had a 22-year career as an MP and CID Agent. While stationed at Kagnew Station in Asmara, Eritrea, Dannie met the love of his life Tula, and they were married in 1967. Dannie was stationed in many places around the world while in the Army, including Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Germany, and Eritrea.

After retiring from the Army, Dannie worked for Radio Shack for 20 years as a Loss Prevention Manager. He also worked for Homeland Security completing background checks for security clearances.

Dannie was a great friend to many and enjoyed fishing, bowling, and rooting for his St Louis Cardinals, LA Lakers, and Washington Commanders. Dannie loved to spend time with his grandkids and was always taking their pictures.

Dannie was a devoted husband to Tula, father to Tim and Tania, father-in-law to Tig, and grandfather to Taylor and Jimmy. Dannie will be missed dearly by his family and all his friends.
