On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, David Lee Zimmerman received his call from heaven at the age of 92.

David was born July 10, 1931 to Clarence and Flora Zimmerman.  He was the oldest of three children.  On June 12, 1954 he was married to Imogene Palmer.  They raised two sons, Terry and Thomas, and a daughter Genelle.

David worked in the accounting field for over 35 years.  Upon retiring, he continued doing accounting work while on short term mission trips with his wife Imogene.  They enjoyed more than 15 trips to Peru, Guatemala and Suriname.

David loved music and loved to sing.  He had a quick wit and always left an imprint on those he met.  Although he was a small man in stature, he was larger than life.

David is preceded in death by his father Clarence, his mother Flora and his brother Clarence.  He is survived by his sister Wauneta, his two sons Terry (Linda), Thomas (Catharine) and his daughter Genelle, his 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation and services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main, Mesa, Arizona.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stoneridge Hospice.
