David Moses, a devoted Catholic, accomplished businessman, and beloved family man, passed away leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and deep love for his family.
David was a man who understood the value of perseverance and responsibility. Through dedication and vision, he grew and strengthened the family legacy, adding to it not only through his business accomplishments but through the example he set for generations to come. His work ethic, integrity, and commitment to doing what was right were hallmarks of his life.
A man of strong faith, David lived his Catholic beliefs steadfastly, guiding his actions with humility, generosity, and service to others. His faith was reflected in the way he treated people with kindness, respect, and compassion.
Equally memorable was David’s sense of humor and razor-sharp wit. He was quick with a joke, a perfectly timed remark, or a clever observation that could light up a room. His humor was warm, intelligent, and often unexpected, bringing laughter even in serious moments. Those who knew him well will forever miss his ability to make people smile while keeping everyone on their toes.
Above all, David cherished his family. He was a loving a brother whose loyalty and presence were a source of strength, an uncle who offered wisdom and encouragement, and a grandfather whose guidance and warmth will be remembered by his grandchildren. His role in the family was one of leadership, support, and love, and his absence will be deeply felt.
David Moses will be remembered not only for what he built, but for who he was, a man who honored his faith, valued his family and friends, worked tirelessly to leave things better than he found them, and shared laughter generously along the way. His legacy lives on in the family he loved and the values he passed down.
Heaven has welcomed a true angel. I will never forget the kindness you showed to my son and me 20–25 years ago. You were like an uncle to us, and we never forgot you — no matter how much life changed or time passed. You were strength, humor, and integrity wrapped into one remarkable man — the kind we rarely meet in this life.
I wasn’t Catholic then, but watching you live your faith was my first real encounter with the beauty of the Church. Without ever trying, you planted a seed in me — a curiosity, a longing, and a calling that would ultimately lead me to the joy and peace of Catholicism. It was one of God’s quiet works, and I will always be grateful for it.
Time moved forward and we lost touch, but I often thought about your silly jokes, incredible one-liners, infectious laugh, and your generosity that I’m convinced flowed from a heart made of pure gold.
I prayed for you over the years and hoped life was treating you well, just as you had always treated others. Your kindness, laughter, honesty, goodness, and sense of responsibility left an impression that will stay with me forever.
I will always be thankful for you — for who you were to me, and for the ways God used you in my story without either of us knowing it at the time.
Requiescat in pace, David Moses, until we meet again in the mercy of God. I trust that Christ, the Light of the World, has welcomed you home, and that His Divine Mercy has received you with tenderness. I believe His Kingdom is brighter in your presence. I pray that the martyrs welcomed you with honor, and the saints received you with joy.
I believe that Our Lady of Lebanon drew you beneath her mantle and presented you to her Son with pride, and that Saint Sharbel Makhlouf, Saint Rafqa, and Saint Nimatullah Hardini prayed for you, together with the saints of Lebanon who kept the faith through exile, trial, and hope.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus now be your refuge, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary be your comfort. I pray that the infinite merits of the Most Holy Eucharist continue to bless you in the mystery of eternity.
I trust your family met you with peace, and that the saints and angels recognized in you the faith of your ancestors. I pray that the Lord welcomed you to the wedding feast of the Lamb, where life has no end and love is never lost.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Allah yerhamo — may God have mercy on you.
Ruho n’em — may your soul rest in light.
Memory eternal — with immense love, deep gratitude, and profound respect.
