Dawn Louise Lindsay, nee` Taylor (Maman, Dawnie-Lou, Star, Momo, Luscious), passed away from COVID/pneumonia on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 9:49pm. As evidenced by her many nicknames, Dawn was deeply loved by her friends, family members, and members of her faith community. Dawn was an ordained minister of the Christian faith, and lived her life as an intercessor and healer of many. Dawn’s ministry work was accomplished not only through her writings, both published and private, but through simply being in her presence. She was ever-faithful to her God and to those who were fortunate enough to be counted amongst her loved ones.

Not unlike Queen Esther, on multiple occasions Dawn would plead the case of those whom she loved and attempted to build bridges which had been burned/broken. She more than fulfilled God’s edict to “let your light shine brightly before others,” and was the quintessential example of grace and love in action.

Dawn is survived by her husband: Howard Alvin Lindsay, her three children: Joshua Ian, Kristin Nicole, and Tasha Dawn, sons and daughter in love: Heath Mathew, Joannes (Joe), Cary Andrew, and Megan Elizabeth (Snow White), and 8 grandchildren: Elliot Joseph, Quinn Allison, Ethan Michael, Jonah Leone, Carter James, Cedar Selby, Vivian Samantha, and Myrah Claire.

Such a beautiful tribute to the bright Star who was in your midst! Thank you for sharing her with me for all those years! I cannot express my sorrow for your loss!
You are and always will remain in my prayers! Oh how she loved you! And oh, how much she was loved!
