Debra Marie Conn, born on April 13th, 1954, originally from Fairmont Minnesota, passed away on November 2nd, 2022, in Mesa, Arizona, where she had lived for the last 42 years. She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Conn.
She is one of six siblings with whom she was very close to, and loved dearly. She is survived by her sisters, Kathy, Marsha, and Rebecca, and proceeded in death by her sister Laraine, and brother Tim.
Debra lived a life of complete selflessness. Anyone who walked through her door was greeted with open arms. Debra had 5 children, Becky, Donny, Rainey & Corissa, none of which she gave birth to, but you would never have known it, as she loved them unconditionally. She then took in her niece Sarah, after her mother passed, their bond was very strong and they always took care of each other. She always helped raise her grandchildren as well, some even lived with her from time to time. There are 8 grandchildren; Molly, Andrew, Lily, Riley Dean, Brittney, Thomas, Laraine, and Ryelie Sue. There is nothing she would not do for those she loved.
Debra’s best friend Sharon was with her to the very end, they spent countless hours and days together. Debra loved her dearly and they supported each other through good times, hard times, and fun times. Sharon will be forever part of the family.
Debra worked for Boeing in Mesa, for over 36 years, and has many friends, so many that you could hardly keep track. She always had the best stories about her friends especially the ones she would pick on. If you knew Debra, and she teased you, you knew she really liked you. If she was polite and nice to you, well, then you better run.
Debra’s service will be on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10:00 am, the service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207 – all friends and family are welcomed, and encouraged to attend. Oh Deb, you will be missed, by myself and many others.
Condolences to your family and shared friends dear.
I will always cherish our work breaks in “the ditch” stepping away from our daily grind and talking endless smack. Quite honestly it hasn’t been the same since you and Sharon retired.
See you in Heaven “ditch Witch”, and you know I say that with love.
I’ll miss you and keep your memory in my heart and mind. Thanks for being a willing and listening ear when I needed it, and talking smack when I didn’t.
Rest in peace dear Debra.
Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.
Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.
My sincere and deepest condolences to the family. Debra will forever be in my heart.
Deb, you will be missed by our circle of friends in the ditch. Thanks for being the person you have always been. I have nobody to guide me now. You were there when I needed it the most and you taught me to keep my mouth shut when needed. You were a perfect work wife, and Sharron as well.
