Honoring the life of Dorothy “Dot” Brooks

 

Dot passed away peacefully, at home, on December 29, 2025 with her daughter and granddaughter at her side.

 

Dot was the middle of 3 children, flanked by brothers Robert and James.

 

Mom loved Jesus her Lord and Savior with all her heart and soul. She showed her love by years of dedication to Gods Word in ministry, preaching, teaching and was Minister of Music for 24 years with 44th Street Church of God/Parkway Community Church.

 

Dot is survived by her children Brenda and Sandy, grandchildren Carrie, Brandon, Kandace and Kyle. Great grandchildren MacKenzi, Austin, Maddyson, Porter, Megan and Alexandria. Step Great grandchildren Alyssa, Kaile and Chandler.

 

A celebration of Dot’s life will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at 3 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E Main Street, Mesa, Arizona. Viewing will be held at 2 PM prior to the services. Reception will follow at the same location.
