He was born in Mesa, AZ weighing 4lbs 7oz. He came to the world with a fighting spirit and continued the fight most of his life. In his heart of hearts he was tender and wanted to give you whatever he had. He loved his animals, family and friends and was grateful for the great support they were to him during his most challenging times.
After many challenging years with his health, he peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 17th with some of his family by his side.
May he be free from the brokenness he faced here on earth.
I enjoyed many experiences with Layne. I first knew him when he was still a young man in Williams. We shared a love of horses and that was the fuel that propelled our friendship at first. He was also a very kind and compassionate person and would do anything to help a friend. He proved that to me on many occasions. We took horse rides together and he got to know all of my children and was always kind. He was truly a wonderful person and will be missed!
