Edgar Earl Zugg, 76, of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2019. Edgar was born on August 22, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa, to George and Lela Zugg. His memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 7900 E Main Street, Mesa Arizona on January 2nd, 2020 at 3:00pm.
Edgar graduated from Indianola High School in Indianola, Iowa, and worked at Southwest Airlines for 25 years, where he was a reservation supervisor and most recently in cargo. Edgar loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a gentle person who loved his family with all his heart. He was extremely passionate for many things in his life, including his 1923 Bucket T Roadster and his cats, Mikey and Guy Pan. On June 21st 1997, Edgar married Cindy, who he loved and treasured for 20 years.
Edgar Zugg is survived by his daughters, Paige Lynne Zugg, Des Moines, Iowa and Tonette Marie Zugg, Litchfield Park, Arizona. His brother David (Lynn) Zugg of Glendale Arizona, Grandchildren Keely Lynae Stagner, Alayshia Evelyn Zugg, Jeyvon Demir Green and Great grandson Josiah Alexander Zugg. He is preceded in death by his wife Cindy Zugg, his parents, brothers George, Bobby,Jim and sisters Barbara and Karen; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Sorry to hear about Ed’s death. Ed lived with us in Newton, IA when he worked for Kenny’s Shoes. He and I had a lot of Good Times together as cousins. Prayers for the family.
