How do we begin to tell you about our dear Francine?  She was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, godmother and friend.

Over the course of fifteen years her physical health kept declining but she never complained.  She refused to let her body’s limitations stop her from living life to the fullest.  She was such a role model to all of us who knew and loved her.

Francine was born on September 21, 1976 – a bicentennial baby – in Tucson, Arizona and passed away much too soon on May 17, 2022.

She grew up in a loving home on four acres of land in Dudleyville, Arizona where the best Easter egg hunts you could ever imagine were a yearly tradition.

Francine attended school in Hayden, Arizona.  She loved sports and as a high school student she played volleyball, basketball and softball for the Hayden Lobos.  She graduated third in her class of 1994.

After high school she attended Arizona State University and then went to work in the customer service department of several banks in the Valley.

Francine loved reading, especially James Patterson books.  She had a real talent for planning parties and showers and loved doing arts and crafts with the children of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Amador and Gloria Ann (Valencia) Guzman.

She is survived by her brother Phillip Guzman, nieces Brooklyn and Aubrielle Guzman, Aunt Alice (Valencia) Sanchez, Uncle Henry (Elizabeth) Valencia, Uncles Tereso Guzman, Abraham Guzman, Felix Guzman, Aunt Jovita Guzman and many, many cousins and friends.

A funeral mass for Francine will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 2213 N. Lindsay Rd. Mesa, Arizona.

Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens 7900 E. Main St. Mesa, Arizona.

Until we meet again Wonder Woman. I’m not worried about you…I know you are in the Lord’s hands. You are the only person I know who had no need for a scapular … you were an angel on earth and I’m proud to call you my sister. I can’t believe you are gone; my heart is broken.
