Gary Lee Groce 75 passed away peacefully in his home on August 8, 2021, in Mesa Arizona. Gary was born on December 29, 1945, in St Joseph Missouri to Betty Groce.

Gary attended Lafayette high school in St Joseph, Missouri prior to enlisting in the United States Air Force for 4 years serving 1 year tour in Vietnam.

Gary passed away in the loving arms of his wife Sharon Groce. Gary is preceded in death by his daughter Trisha Groce, Gary was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Gary is survived by his wife Sharon Groce, children Ricky (Laura), Ronald (Sheelagh), and Kimberly (Jason). Grandchildren Jenna, Kayla, Cortney, Brandon, Tyler, and Breanna. Great Grand Children, Aiden, Carson, Revven.

Gary was a family man, handyman, manly man, traveling man and his sense of humor was only exceeded by his good looks, as Gary would often say. Gary was a huge Elvis fan, so it is fitting he had an “Elvis Exit” (ask family for details). He was known by his great grandchildren as the “Great One” and Aiden loved it when he called him Little Bozo.

He will be greatly missed by so many who loved him dearly.
