OBITUARY- GEORGE MICHAEL BREED
George Michael Breed was born in Harrisonville, MO on 8/20/1949. He expired 8/28/2024 after prolonged brain injury-induced dementia. He lived his entire life in Phoenix. He is a product of Most Holy Trinity grade school, Brophy Prep High School, and ASU.

Parents Charles and Virginia precede him. Sisters Julie Swanbeck (Don) and Laura Beth Gise (Doug) and brothers Richard (Barbara) and Charles (Janis Ruth) survive him.

Gardening and BBQing were his passions. Mike shared his BBQ with neighbors and friends. He was a good neighbor to many, willing to mow, irrigate, or shop for neighbors, help with projects and visit with the homebound. He worked in the construction industries as a carpenter and welder. He prided himself on his building skills and like our dad taught himself plumbing, electrical, automotive, and welding skills.

Viewing will be at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 2213 N. Lindsey Rd in Mesa on Saturday September 7 at 10:45 am followed by funeral mass at 11:30 am. Burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix at 1 pm. A reception will follow at Garcia’s at 4601 E. Thomas Rd.

Donations to St. Vincent de Paul at Most Holy Trinity Parish 8620 N. 7th St Phoenix, 85020 would be appreciated.
