George William “Bill” Reeve, 82, passed away unexpectedly on September 19th, 2021 at his home in Apache Junction, Arizona. He lost his long battle with cancer. Bill was born on May 18th, 1939 in Pine River, Minnesota to Cleo and Myrtle (Schofield) Reeve. Bill was the youngest of their 9 children. He grew up in Backus, Minnesota, but raised a family in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He worked for Sears as a service technician for 33 years. He also hung draperies part-time. Bill liked to hunt, fish and spend time with family at “the 80” when they lived in Minnesota. He also enjoyed hiking the hills of Arizona, golfing, shuffleboard, AND playing pool and cards with his friends. He made aluminum can airplanes and tin can tin men in his spare time. Bill is preceded by his parents, Cleo and Myrtle; brothers, Max, Rex, Joe, Bob, Earl, Perry; sister, Betty, Nellie; and infant twin daughters. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of 62 years; sons, Randy (Cheryl) of Blaine, Minnesota, Mike (Taraleigh Coburn) of Brooksville, Florida; daughter, Kelly Olson (Kent) of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; grandchildren, Travis, Nick, Patrick, Billy, Tyler, April and Amy; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tyler, Karlee, Abigail, Jade, Rylan, Colsen, Kylie and Keegan; and many dear friends and relatives. A celebration/memorial to be determined at a later date.
