Gerald Kay Black was born on October 16th, 1938 to Harold and Norma Black of Jacksonville, Illinois. He passed away on Thursday November 28th, 2024 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 86.

Gerald is survived by his wife Ernestine, children Tammy Wedgeworth, Denise Black and Brenda Pineda(son-in-law Moses); 4 grandchildren  LeeAnn, Geno, Luke and Cole. Gerald is also survived by his sister Rebecca Black Colvin (91) of Modesto, Illinois.

Gerald will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him. Cremation arrangements are being made by Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mesa Arizona. In accordance with his wishes no funeral service will be held. A private remembrance will take place among close family members.
