Geraldine Elizabeth Brummer Reinart, 93 years of age, born on January 23, 1924 died peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and children on Oct. 9, 2017.
Beloved wife to Melvin Reinart for 72 years. Loving Mother of Janice Petite (Bob Benson) and Steven (Cathy) Reinart. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly (Ed) Wright, Timothy (Amy) Bayer, Erica (Evan) Storch, Breanna and Steven Reinart. Proud great grandmother to Alex and Max Wright, Connor and Aidan Bayer and Mathew Storch. Great-great-grandmother to Gracie Adams.
Geraldine Reinart, better known to all as “Beanie”, was born in Dunlap, IA. After high school Beanie worked at Boys Town in Omaha, NE for 3 years. Beanie shared a true love story meeting Melvin Reinart and after thirty days they were married. They raised their two children first in Dow City, IA and onto Omaha, NE and then settled down in Orland Park, IL, where she became an avid Chicago Cubs fan and was so happy they won the 2016 World Series.
Melvin and Beanie were fortunate to retire at an early age and began traveling, they eventually went to FL and lived there for several years and eventually settled in AZ for the past 17 years.
Beanie was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Beanie will be remembered for being devoted to our Heavenly Father and attended church faithfully. She loved having family around to play cards, her kind heart, warm hugs, being an amazing cook and her love for the Chicago Cubs.
