Grace Ann Noble, age 82, of Gilbert, Arizona, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 22, 2019.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her mother, Mary Edith Hewitt, her sisters Pearl England, Edith Mingus, Betty Allen, Joy Miller, and Marie Black.
She was also greeted by her 3 brothers: Jim Hewitt, Paul Hewitt, and Robert Hewitt, as well as her precious grandson, Kenny Bernitt, and her great granddaughter Paxton Grace.
Grace is survived by her adoring husband of 65 years: William “Wild Bill” Noble, also of Gilbert, Arizona. Her daughter, Bonnie Noble, of Tennessee, her son, William Noble Jr. of Arizona, her daughter in law Debbie Noble, 3 granddaughters, one grandson, and 3 great grandsons.
Grace was the epitome of an old fashioned 1950’s stay at home wife and mom. She loved to organize and label every item in her home. She was an excellent seamstress, and her grandchildren always looked forward to the handmade, unique items that she would spend hours designing for them.
She enjoyed cooking for and entertaining her friends and family members. Two of her signature dishes were Braised Beef in wine, and Petti di Pollo Lombardi. She would wow her guests with her impeccable presentation of flaming Cherries Jubilee for dessert. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will always fondly remember the homemade gingerbread boy cookies she would lovingly prepare each and every Christmas season.
One of her favorite pastimes was reading. Her impressive library includes a plethora of books. Her favorite book was the BIBLE, and her children will cherish her Bibles with her comments written in the margins, and the numerous sticky notes attached to the various pages. Her favorite author was C.S. Lewis. She read every book that he ever wrote, and her favorite Lewis book was “Mere Christianity.” As pancreatic cancer took its toll, she asked that we pray that she would “not linger.” She also remarked: “I’ve always looked forward to seeing my Savior. I wouldn’t miss this for anything.” She spent her entire life preparing for Eternity, and her most fervent prayer was that her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all future generations would know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. She is HOME now, and although she will be dearly missed in this world, all of her family has the blessed assurance that we will see her again.
Rest in Peace Aunt Grace.

Deepest sympathy to all of you. May God comfort you.
