Guy Lee Martinez, 73, of Chandler, passed away surrounded by loved ones on the morning of April 3rd, 2021. Guy was born in Illinois in 1947. He graduated from Elgin High School in 1965 & he immediately continued his education by attending Ford’s Auto Technician Training Program. By 1967, Guy had earned his certification as a Ford Technician and soon Guy & his family moved to Arizona. Guy was a very loyal employee for about 40 years where he earned many certifications & awards for his dedication. He ended his Ford career in Arizona as a Senior Master Technician.

Guy lived a very fulfilling life & had a strong passion for pool. He was always playing on a local pool league, participating in many tournaments & earning numerous awards for his talents.  Friends and family remember his contagious laugh, his sweet smile and his quick-witted personality.

When Guy passed away, he was greeted by his parents Nannie & Cayentano Martinez; and his eldest son, Guy Martinez Jr.

He is survived by his sons, Greg Martinez, Justin Peters and Joshua Peters; his daughter D.J. Martinez; his grandchildren Amanda Martinez, Jax Peters, Bethany Muino, Harlie Muino & Trey Muino.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, May 1st at 2:00 p.m.
