My sincere condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies.

I’m deeply saddened to hear of Harlan’s passing. I hired Harlan as a manager trainee of the Howard Johnson’s in Sioux Falls, SD back in the early 1970’s. We both spent several years working for HoJos and I have many, many fond memories of those years. We continued to stay in touch over the years but lost touch with him when he moved to Arizona. Rest In Peace Old Friend!
